Daniel

Daniel 6:25-27

Then King Darius sent this message to the people of every race and nation and language throughout the world:

“Peace and prosperity to you!

“I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel.

For he is the living God,
    and he will endure forever.
His kingdom will never be destroyed,
    and his rule will never end.
He rescues and saves his people;
    he performs miraculous signs and wonders
    in the heavens and on earth.
He has rescued Daniel
    from the power of the lions.”

Bible Readings

Daniel lived during a difficult time in Israel. Another country took all the people out of Israel and made them live in Babylon. Daniel loved and obeyed God, so God blessed him while he was there.

Because of God’s blessings Daniel served under 4 of the greatest rulers during his lifetime. In the Book of Daniel we see that Daniel’s life is full of good stories and he lives a life of purpose, prayer, and told prophecies!

This is the Daniel that was thrown into the Lion’s Den, he could tell the meaning of dreams, and he was friends with Shadrach, Meshach, and Adednego.
